E.ON has established its own procurement and marketing function for the German, British and Swedish markets as of July 1, 2017. The so-called Market Operations teams in these countries will focus on transactions on wholesale energy markets and the grid operators’ balancing markets. First turbine installed at Rampion

The construction of Rampion Offshore Wind Farm enters into its final phase. At the weekend the first of 116 wind turbines was installed for the project based in the English Channel off the coast of Sussex. For the installation each tower with a length of 80 metres, weighing approximately 200 tonnes, is positioned and bolted onto each turbine foundation.
