INEA está desarrollando el programa de investigación e innovación de la UE Horizon 2020, dotado con 77 mil millones para el período 2014-2020, en las áreas de transporte y energía.
La Agencia se ocupa de la gestión de los fondos y el seguimiento de los proyectos de investigación y de innovación bajo las siguientes retos de la sociedad:
